Racine County Diversity Officer Melvin Hargrove

 Dad Courthouse-0568

The Diversity Office was officially established in 2023 on the recommendation of County Executive Jonathan Delagrave and a unanimous vote of the Racine County Board of Supervisors. Established under the REDI (Race Equity Diversity Inclusion) Initiative the diversity office seeks to help build a workplace of choice and improve opportunity for all Racine County Employees. We will accomplish this by providing the necessary tools and resources to help strengthen internal policies, procedures, and practices that create a welcoming, encouraging and productive culture. The Diversity Office will also seek to enhance the County’s presence in our community as a whole to include underserved communities and communities of color through deliberate outreach while seeking to collaborate and partner with external partners to address and promote opportunities for all.
