The Support Services Division is led by Captain Kelly Goetzke.
This division is responsible for managing Courthouse and Law Enforcement Center security.
The main objective is to provide a safe and secure environment for all men and women who frequent our court facilities.
The Records Bureau and the Planning and Training Office are also part of the Support Services Division.
Records Bureau staff are responsible for the maintenance and storage of all paper and electronic records associated with incidents, investigations, arrests, traffic accidents and inmate records. They also prepare and process incoming court documents for Civil Process, Evictions and Sheriff’s Foreclosure Sales.
The Planning and Training Office organizes and schedules all trainings for correctional officers, sworn law enforcement officers and civilian staff of the Sheriff's Office in accordance with the Law Enforcement Standards Bureau, an office overseen by the Wisconsin Department of Justice. It is the responsibility of the Training Sergeant to make sure all mandated training requirements are met and recorded through the State of Wisconsin.
In addition, the Support Services Division oversees the department’s Records Management System as well as the other electronic data systems. The Racine County Sheriff’s Office Support Services Division is one of its "behind the scenes" commands that provide a variety of services to all members of our department, the public and other law enforcement and criminal justice agencies.
