The Racine County Sheriff's Office has a zero tolerance policy concerning any type of sexual misconduct between inmates or between staff and inmates. All reported incidents of sexual abuse and sexual harassment will be investigated and handled in accordance with Wisconsin State Statues. Any false reports or allegations of inmate or staff sexual misconduct will result in criminal prosecution.
If you have any information regarding an incident of sexual abuse or sexual harassment of an inmate within the Racine County Jail, you can report it by calling the PREA line at 262-636-3811 or Sexual Assault Services at 262-637-7233. Both lines are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and callers can remain anonymous. You may also report in person at the Racine County Jail 24 hour window on 8th street.
