Get ready to unleash your creativity and showcase the beauty of the County.  Racine County is excited to announce a photo contest.  Racine County invites all students, amateur and professional photographers to take photos of sites, landscapes and events in Racine County, anything from the West End to the East End.

The contest will end November 27, 2024.  At the conclusion of the contest, a panel will review all submissions and select the winning photos.

PRIZES:

The winning photo will go on an Educators Credit Union credit/debit card.  Another set of photos will be selected will appear in a 2025 County calendar that will be available at the end of the year.  Additional photos will appear on the Racine County social media pages, website and promotional and marketing materials.

CONTEST RULES:
  1. Photos must be taken in Racine County.
  2. Photos must meet the deadline of November 27, 2024.
  3. Photographs should refrain from including the intellectual property of others, such as registered trademarks, and should uphold standards of good taste.
  4. Please don’t include any special filters on the submitted photos.
  5. You are allowed to submit as many photos as you like.
  6. Upon submission, all entries are deemed the property of Racine County and will not be returned. Racine County holds no liability for any loss or damage incurred to submitted photographs.
  7. Racine County retains the authority to crop or edit photographs as necessary.
  8. Contest entrants acknowledge and accept all rules and regulations outlined, as well as the final decisions made by the panel, which are binding and non-negotiable.
  9. Photos must be in high resolution.

RELEASE:

By submitting a photograph, I hereby grant Racine County permission to use my likeness, name, and/or images I have photographed in any and all publications: including website entries, [describe anticipated use], without payment or any other consideration in perpetuity. I understand and agree that these photos can be used by Racine County as stated above. My photos can also be used for my personal or professional use. I hereby irrevocably authorize Racine County to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, public or distribute the photo(s) for purposes of [describe anticipated use] or other lawful use. In addition, I wave the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my likeness and/or the photo(s) appear. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photograph(s). I hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge Racine County from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization. I am 18 years of age or older and am competent to contract in my own name. If under the age of 18 I will have consent signed by parent or guardian.
