The Diversity Office is offering ongoing training to help bridge the gap and educate County staff in diversity, equity and inclusion issues and practices. As of now, the office has training over 200 staff members.

Adverse childhood experiences can impair social, emotional and cognitive development, increasing the risk of addiction, health problems, and even early death. To combat these challenges, Racine County provides training to hundreds of staff community partners to help better understand and treat trauma.
