The togetherness of family and friends are key elements for celebrating the holidays. This can make the holidays difficult for people grieving the loss of a loved one. Holiday cheer can bring unpleasant emotions and painful feelings such as anxiety, anger, sadness, or disbelief, even in the midst of joy. It is important and healthy to get support while preparing for the holiday season.
This time of reflection will offer several strategies to help you, or someone you know who is grieving, to navigate the potentially stormy waters of the holidays.
