Home MenuELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be between 15 to 18 years of age as of June 1.
- Must be able to work in the United States.
- Must be a Racine County resident.
- Must be able to commit to 20hrs/week for 8 consecutive weeks between June 17 and August 9.
- Need ID (state ID, drivers license or school ID) and social security card.
TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT
- A 3 day orientation training is mandatory for all youth participants prior to beginning employment at a selected work site. The training focuses on preparing youth for their work site and familiarizing them with the expectations of the program.
- During program involvement, youth will participate in education and skill development workshops every other Friday.
- Orientation training and skill development workshops will occur in person at a local school.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Applications are reviewed and selected youth will be scheduled for an interview with the selection committee.
